Abstract
The article describes the main points and arguments of Jiang Qing’s “Political Confucianism” as a revival of the tradition of the Gunyan school (公羊学). It presents the differences between the “Mind Confucianism” (心性儒学, xīnxìng rúxué) and “Political Confucianism” (政治儒学, zhèngzhì rúxué), defines the basic features of the three-dimensional theory of political legitimacy and the concept of a three-part legislation, analyzes the restoration project of Confucianism as the state religion and criticism of “Political Confucianism”. The present article proved that Jiang Qing opposes to Western political models and offers a conservative path of reform that relies on the cultural heritage of China.
