Abstract
In 2015 it is the 380th anniversary birth of Zanabazar, one of outstanding figures of Mongolia. The paper deals with separate aspects of his biography. Particular attention is given to his creative heritage – its influence on the Mongolian sacred art, including painting, in particular the image of the White Tara, presented at the Museum of Arts by Bogdan and Varvara Khanenko (Kyiv, Ukraine).
