Abstract
Such important acquisition sources of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina as theses legal deposit and international book exchange are in the focus of the article. Statistics of theses receiving, international and domestic book exchange features, and instructions of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina collection development policy concerning above mentioned acquisition sources are explored.
