Abstract
The translation of the short story “The Graveyard of Unwritten Books” written by the famous prose writer, essayist, and literary critic Nedima Gursel from the collection “Sorguda”, published in 1988, was made as an attempt to present to the Ukrainian audience the literature of the modern Turkish writer whose works are translated into more than 30 languages and occupy a prominent place in the Turkish literature. “The Graveyard of Unwritten Books” is devoted to the reflections on the art of narration and the controversial issues of self-censorship.
