Abstract
“International Summer School for Jain Studies” is an annual 3-week programme designed for students, scholars, and research faculty to deepen their knowledge in the academic studies of Jainism and Jain yoga directly from practitioners and professors of Jain faith. The course immerses the participants in Jainism through philosophy, ethics, cosmology, and art. An important part of the programme is to conceptualize what is learned in the class by visiting historical places of interest, interacting with Jain communities, and participating in cultural activities. The travel within sacred places of India (Delhi, Alipur, Baghpad, Hastinapur, Jaipur, Ladnun) provides great learning opportunities.
