Анотація

Стаття досліджує соціорелігійну історію, іконографію та іконографічну програму храмів буддійського комплексу Гум Баха. Один із найдавніших монастирів у Непалі, буддійський комплекс Ваджрайогіні (Гум Баха) залишається малодослідженим. Робиться особливий акцент на іконографії тимпанів пагод віхари, адже саме за ними визначається і належність храмів. Пропонується своя інтерпретація цієї іконографії, і, таким чином, висувається припущення щодо можливої текстуальної основи зображень пагод віхари Гум Баха. Все це дає змогу також говорити про те – які ідеї через архітектуру постулювали буддійська громада і донатори храму, зокрема звернути увагу на соціорелігійний та політичний аспекти цих ідей у контексті непальської історії Середньовіччя і початку Нового часу.
